VigorAP 918R is a wireless access point designed for outdoor environments. It is ideal for providing wireless access to users and devices in any outdoor scenario, including restaurants, gardens, marinas, educational premises or, really, anywhere where outdoor access is needed.
VigorAP 918R is a dual-band 802.11ac Wave 2 wireless access point and range extender that can be used a part of a DrayTek mesh wireless solution, designed to eliminate wireless drop-outs, stuttering videos, slow download speeds, poor signal and Wi-Fi dead zones. One access point acts as the controller (mesh root) and in total up to eight access points create an easy-to-manage wireless mesh. Extend coverage without running expensive cabling.
Initial setup of VigorAP 918R is easy with the DrayTek Wireless app, whether it’s creating a new mesh network or being set up in AP and Range Extender modes, the Quick Start Wizard assists throughout. Manage VigorAP 918R centrally through the VigorACS central management platform, VigorConnect, Router AP Management, or simply on its own as a stand-alone access point. VigorAP 918R has the flexibility to be used how you need it, in any environment.

  The VigorAP 918R series is designed for use outdoors with a water- and dust-resistant IP67 casing. Designed to reliably operate in extreme hot or cold conditions, VigorAP 918R is an ideal access point for permanent outdoor installation.
• Auto optimizing mesh wireless
  DrayTek’s mesh system connects and intelligently manages a group of VigorAPs over wireless. The self-optimizing mesh ensures your wireless network nodes are always using the fastest path to the mesh root.
• Gigabit PoE ports
  VigorAP 918R is powered by Power over Ethernet by its Gigabit Ethernet port for convenient installation. Connect and power extra devices through the VigorAP 918RPD’s secondary Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE output.
• Easy to configure and manage
  The DrayTek Wireless app simplifies setting up your network. Optionally configure and monitor through one of DrayTek’s management platforms – VigorACS cloud, VigorConnect, Router AP Management, or directly via the AP’s Web Interface.
• Long-range point-to-point wireless links
  Create long distance wireless links with the VigorAP 918RPD’s high-gain directional antenna. Connect two locations potentially over a kilometer apart with 11ac wireless. Signal strength LED indicators simplify aiming and installation.
