Description

HPE Aruba Networking 560EX Series Hazardous Location Access Points provide cost-effective Wi-Fi 6 connectivity for outdoor hazardous locations like oil fields and rigs, mining facilities, and environments with explosive atmospheres and vapors that need Class 1 Division 2 or ATEX Zone 2 solutions. With Wi-Fi 6 capabilities, Bluetooth 5 and 802.15.4/Zigbee radios, and maximum aggregate data rate of 1.49 Gbps, the 560EX Series delivers the speed and reliability needed to bring Wi-Fi to hazardous locations. These Wi-Fi 6 outdoor APs are purpose-built for hazardous locations and can be quickly deployed using Zero Touch Provisioning. HPE Aruba Networking Central provides a single pane of glass for overseeing wired and wireless LANs, WANs, and VPNs. AI-powered analytics, end-to-end orchestration and automation, and advanced security features are built natively into the solution. The 560EX Series includes a limited lifetime warranty.

  • HPE Aruba Networking 560EX Series Hazardous Location Access Points provide Class 1 Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2 certification to operate in hazardous locations, provide up to 1.49 Gbps combined aggregate data rate and high-performance wireless connectivity for outdoor hazardous locations.
  • HPE Aruba Networking 560EX Series Hazardous Location Access Points are purpose-built to survive in one of the harshest outdoor hazardous locations and can withstand extreme temperatures, persistent moisture and precipitation, and are fully sealed to keep out airborne contaminants.
  • HPE Aruba Networking 560EX Series Hazardous Location Access Points can serve as IoT platforms that bolster network security and provide coverage for a range of IoT devices without the need for network overlays.
  • HPE Aruba Networking 560EX Series Hazardous Location Access Points offers Dynamic Segmentation to remove the time-consuming and error-prone task of managing complex and static VLANs, ACLs, and subnets by dynamically assigning policies and keeping traffic protected and separated.
  • Cost-Effective Outdoor Wi-Fi 6 For HazLoc Environments
HPE Aruba Networking 560EX Series Hazardous Location Access Points provide Class 1 Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2 certification to operate in hazardous locations, provide up to 1.49 Gbps combined aggregate data rate and high-performance wireless connectivity for outdoor hazardous locations.
It supports the Wi-Fi 6 standard, including features such as orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA), bi-directional multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO), and target wait time (TWT).
Enhanced wireless experience with HPE Aruba Networking ClientMatch technology removes sticky client issues by steering a client to the AP where it receives one of the best radio signals.
  • Deploy In Hazardous Locations
HPE Aruba Networking 560EX Series Hazardous Location Access Points are purpose-built to survive in one of the harshest outdoor hazardous locations and can withstand extreme temperatures, persistent moisture and precipitation, and are fully sealed to keep out airborne contaminants.
Weatherproof and temperature hardened, this series can handle temperatures ranging from -40°C to +65°C, including full sun deployments.
Class 1 Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2 are certified for one of the most extreme indoor and outdoor areas with ignitable concentrations of flammable gases, vapors, or liquids.
It offers small form factor for flexible deployment.
  • IoT Ready
HPE Aruba Networking 560EX Series Hazardous Location Access Points can serve as IoT platforms that bolster network security and provide coverage for a range of IoT devices without the need for network overlays.
The AP supports Bluetooth 5 and Zigbee wireless protocols through an integrated IoT radio.
The target wake time (TWT) improves battery life of IoT devices.
The HPE Aruba Networking Central Client Insights uses deep packet inspection to provide additional context and behavioral information that help verify devices are receiving proper policy enforcement and continuously monitor for rogue devices.
  • Enhanced Security
HPE Aruba Networking 560EX Series Hazardous Location Access Points offers Dynamic Segmentation to remove the time-consuming and error-prone task of managing complex and static VLANs, ACLs, and subnets by dynamically assigning policies and keeping traffic protected and separated.
It offers stronger encryption and authentication with WPA3, protected credentials/keys storage for guest access with Enhanced Open, and user and IoT access policy enforcement firewalls (PEF).
This AP simplifies policy enforcement by using PEF to encapsulate all traffic from the AP to the gateway (or mobility controller) for end-to-end encryption and inspection.
For enhanced device assurance, the 560EX Series includes an installed Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for protected storage of credentials and keys, and boot code.
